This is the kitchen being viewed from the South and facing North. As you can see, there is a lot more counter space and cabinets/drawers for storage. Room to put away all the minor appliances -- crockpots, blender, food processor, deep fryer, electric stand mixer; room for all my dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. And under the overhead cabinets, all the around the kitchen, there are flourescent lights to give direct workspace lighting to the counter tops. The kitchen also has a ceiling fan. And from the kitchen you can see the breakfast room, den/sunroom and out the windows to the back yard. |
